SCORE is an adjunct of the Small Business Administration (SBA), a non-profit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses.
Give back. Be a mentor. Help a small business owner succeed!
Our Chapter’s 30+ volunteers have given free, confidential advice to almost 1000 entrepreneurs each year. SCORE business coaches—men and women, working and retired—counsel small business owners from our local offices and the Internet. Join us as counselors in one or more or our 7 local offices. We provide no-cost face-to-face, counseling in Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex and portions of Union Counties. Internet counseling is from the comforts of home, office or wherever.
All business counselors honor a code of ethics that ensures client confidentiality and professional conduct.

SCORE members counsel face-to-face in teams of two, with each counselor bringing specific strengths to the table. Clients are invited to return for additional counseling sessions if required. These counseling assignments are typically two per month, with each session about one hour.
Internet counseling assignments allow up to 48 hours for response with the flexibility to sign-off when not available or select specific time periods of availability. You can counsel from home, your office or anywhere.
In addition to counseling, members also serve on chapter committees and assist in conducting business seminars in local libraries and colleges.
